GCS Logistics, located in the East Bay and founded in 1988, began as a drayage service-company to importers and exporters in the Bay Area. Since then they have expanded their scope of expertise to include not only drayage but over the road, cross-dock deconsolidation and transloading services in the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest.

Today GSC Logistics offers proactive communication and precision when it comes to their logistics services and a number of major companies are long-term clients.

Clare Computer Solutions?(CCS) was brought in to discuss some of the performance issues that the company had with their existing technology, as well as to offer their expertise in developing an improved overall engineering plan for the company that would enable them to reach their target growth. ?We had a few hurdles to cross getting our CFO on board with an aggressive timeline for handling these technology issues, but eventually we collectively agreed that the time to improve our business had come and we worked with CCS to develop a plan for us to achieve our goals: efficiency, security?and higher performance with redundant systems to ensure that our systems would work under any circumstances.
